Privacy Policy

FILMCONTACTSHEET (“we”, “us”, or the “Service”) turns scanned images into authentic-looking film contact sheets. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the Service at filmcontactsheet.com and how we protect it.

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

• Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account — either directly or through “Sign in with Google.” If you use Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google; we never see your Google password.
• Images you upload. The scans you upload to generate a contact sheet, and the contact sheets we produce from them.
• Payment information. When you buy sheets, payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — only a record of the purchase and your remaining balance.
• Basic usage data. Limited technical information (such as error reports) needed to keep the Service reliable.

• To create your account and provide the Service.
• To process your image uploads and generate your contact sheets.
• To process payments and track your sheet balance.
• To send essential account emails — such as confirming your email address. We do not send marketing emails.
• To keep the Service secure, debug issues, and prevent abuse.

Your uploaded scans are used only to generate your contact sheet, and are deleted from our storage as soon as the sheet is created. Your finished contact sheets are stored so you can access and download them anytime from your dashboard, until you delete them. We do not use your images to train any model, and we do not sell or share them.

We share information only with the providers needed to operate the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• DigitalOcean — hosting and image storage.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending account emails.
• Google — optional “Sign in with Google.”

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We use only the essential cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and encrypted storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
